HOLIDAY TO ARJUNO

  Initially, I and my 4 school friends, namely Surya, Ndaru, and Gifari, planned to climb, and we looked for a nice mountain to climb, and we decided to climb Mount Arjuna because it was close, then we decided to climb on October 12th.

  Before leaving, my friends and I prepared various things and logistics such as food and drinks as well as cooking equipment. We didn't bring a tent because we were tektok, we went to the registration place to take care of SIMAKSI at 21.30 pm, and we started climbing at 22.10 pm, we arrived at post 2 at 22.40 pm, we rested there because the journey from post 1 to post 2 was very steep and we were tired, but we didn't give up we continued the journey to post 3, when we arrived at post 3 we sat down for a while while enjoying the natural atmosphere, then we continued the journey to post 4, the journey to post 4 was very far and the road was steep, Gifari almost gave up at that time, when we arrived at post 4 we rested at the shelter we didn't dare to make noise there because there were several groups doing some kind of ritual, and our tiredness was gone we continued the journey to post 5 in the middle of the journey Ndaru's cellphone was left behind at the shelter we were forced to wait for him to pick it up, after that Ndaru's shoe sole came off and we had to stop for a moment to fix it, honestly the journey from post 4 to post 5 was the furthest, almost arriving at post 5 we met two people who while climbing it turns out they are also akamsi,we chatted for a while then we continued our journey, when we arrived at post 5 it turned out that many people were setting up tents there, because we didn't bring a tent we rested again at the shelter, inside the shelter there were two people who were resting they were very kind and offered us some food they came from Surabaya, my friend and I first recharged our energy by eating and drinking coffee, the air was very cold, Surya who slept first until our layer was afraid that Surya would get hypothermia because only Surya knew about the mountain and we shouldn't leave friends who were in trouble, we dug to warm Surya's body before it got worse and gathered Surya was still fine, and we continued our journey to post 6 at 02.00 in the morning, throughout our journey we didn't meet anyone at all because everyone continued their journey in the morning, on the way to post 6 we got a lot of signals that we used to contact someone we loved, and we prayed again on the way so that we could set foot on the peak of Arjuno, when we arrived at post 6 we were treated to the beauty of nature, namely sunrise, we took the time to take pictures there because it was dawn It was very sunny, and we continued our journey to the top when we arrived at the border of "tanjakan sambat" there was another obstacle coming from Ndaru again, namely Ndaru had to defecate, we were forced to wait for him, but Gifari and Surya were in a hurry and they continued their journey first, I was forced to wait for Ndaru, but we managed to catch up with them, on the journey to post 7 Ndaru and Gifari began to despair, Surya and I were forced to go ahead and we joined someone who came from the city of Malang and the island of Kalimantan,then we went ahead of them when we arrived at post 7 I was very weak because I had not eaten at all we were forced to wait for Ndaru and Gifari, because they all had food, there we were with people from Makasar, then Ndaru and Gifari came but there was only a little food left, Surya and I were a little disappointed because they ate by themselves without us, but fortunately Surya and I were still able to eat 1 bread, then we continued the summit journey, and unexpectedly with determination and courage we arrived at the peak of Arjuno we were very proud and we also took the opportunity to take pictures.

  We are very proud to be able to set foot on the peak of Arjuna, but... it is not us who are great but Arjuna who allows us to set foot on the peak, from here we know the true nature of our friends, and the loyalty of our friends, and how valuable our friends are.
